[On the day of the 25th, Topaz will receive a delivery. A small one, but good things can still come in small packages!

Inside the neatly-wrapped gift box, she'll find a kitty necklace. One that's made from real topaz, not fake stuff—he checked! It's not as fancy as the kind of jewelry he could've afforded back home, but still not bad quality. Then he throws in some cute animal-themed sticky notes, too.

I appreciate that you've made yourself easy to find. Aventurine has informed me the IPC has a not-insignificant presence here. The ironies of an endless vacation choosing to ensnare multiple corporative employees are not lost on me.

One point of contention I have is that he has stated, and quite confidently, that you as a whole have tried "everything" in a bid to escape. Even were that to be the objective truth, my arrival would dictate that the variables have changed enough to mandate a reexamination of your efforts. Any information you could provide would be appreciated.

[Sleeping is an impossible task at times back in her room, but she still preferred it on a bed when she can. It's so tiring, listening to the thump thump thump that was so loud that it echoed in her head, and while Astra normally can handle herself well and power through that-- she couldn't, not this time. She's so tired, she needed some place to nap.

She was glad that the proprietress of Red Cardinal was so considerate to let people nap here, but since it's getting to be common knowledge, finding a spot was getting harder and harder. It's not like being an idol means she gets perks here, and even then, she doesn't mind not getting them either. Everyone was tired.

So when she sees a free spot next to a lovely lady, she puts on her best smile and comes over, gesturing it.]

Firstly, you were right about the culprit behind those murders. It was exactly who you thought it was. I'm sorry I doubted you at first, but at least now we can say it's "case closed" on that.

Second, I learned of the first victim's identity. I also learned some other unpleasant stuff about him. About Aventurine, that is. I assume you already know that stuff yourself, so I won't repeat it all.

I wanted to express my condolences. I know he was a trusted partner of yours, so I'm sure it must have hurt to learn he pays people to kill him, stabs people, and does all sorts of other disturbing things. His taste in men sounds pretty bad, too. That all must have been a shock.

I won't claim to know what you're going through, but I do know what it's like to be disappointed in someone you expected better from. So, if you ever need someone to talk to

The idea would be to leave the note, knock on the door, and dash immediately. However just as she tries to turn and run after knocking, the tape fails! It seems the stone was a bit too heavy for the cheap adhesive. In a panicked rush she dives to the floor to retrieve it, and hurriedly attempts to reapply the note hoping beyond hope that maybe Topaz just isn't at her place of residence.]
