Inside the neatly-wrapped gift box, she'll find a kitty necklace. One that's made from real topaz, not fake stuff—he checked! It's not as fancy as the kind of jewelry he could've afforded back home, but still not bad quality. Then he throws in some cute animal-themed sticky notes, too.

The kitty design reminds me of my critters back home. And the animal sticky notes are really useful! I appreciate all the thought you put into these gifts.
Most of all, though: I would love to take you up on spending time together. It's the one thing I didn't have time to do back home. I'd love to see pics of your Mary and visit your birds!

You're not the only one who hasn't heard of it. Though some people here celebrate something similar, and it's just called something different in their world. For example, one person said he celebrates something called "Kleinmas!"
But basically, Christmas is a holiday! Christmas Day is on December 25th, and Christmas Eve is on December 24th. Christmas Eve is mainly for couples, but Christmas Day is for everyone. And one thing you do is give gifts! Children get the most excited for it, but adults can receive gifts, too. Then there are other activities, like decorating Christmas trees and eating Christmas cake!

You can see Christmas being celebrated around the resort. They just don't like to use the word for some reason. But if you've seen any decorations featuring a bearded man in a red suit, that's supposed to be Santa! Legend has it that Santa Claus delivers gifts to children from his magic sleigh~ 🎅🎁🛷✨
